Bangton is the owner of the Gym and a renowned and respected Boxer in Phuket. He started Muay Thai when he was only 10 years old and quickly became a good fighter. He fought all over Thailand and won 220 fights on a total of 250 fights in his career. He is now ready to share all the knowledge acquired during all those years of practice.
Rudy is coming from France and has been a professional English Boxing Trainer for more than 10 years. He can train all levels, from beginners to professional. Don’t hesitate to try English Boxing as it is a great way to complement your Muay Thai training.
Muay Thai is a combat sport from the muay martial arts of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This physical and mental discipline which includes combat on foot is known as “the art of eight limbs” because it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins and feet, being associated with a good physical preparation that makes a full-contact fighter very efficient. In Bangtong Gym you have the possibility of training in a typical Muay Thai gym, in the heart of the Bangtao area. Very close to the beach and surrounded by beautiful Thai houses, it’s the perfect way to truly enjoy the Thailand atmosphere. The Gym is open daily from 6.00AM to 8.00PM. You can book a private session with a personal trainer to discover Muay Thai or improve your level. Crossfit is a strength and conditioning program with the aim of improving, among other things, muscular strength, cardio-respiratory endurance, and flexibility. Crossfit training is based upon a workout system of constantly varied functional movements executed at a high intensity level. It combines aerobic exercise, gymnastics (body weight exercises), and weight lifting.
A typical training session lasts about an hour – hard and fast – conducted in a group, creating an atmosphere of team support and motivation, intensity, and fun .
